New Rings (edited with new pics)

I was studying at home with Eri Atebery via her website The Jewellry Making Professor and here are some of my results.

If you are serious about learning then this is money well invested. Only a few pounds (GBP) a month and you get access to many videos.

Ok enough promotion here we go!

Switchable Earrings

For the life of me I can't remember who I learnt this technique from! I remember searching for it after a teen asked me to find a way last year.

When I do find it I'll give the credit :D

So first you start with a plain wire:

And then you add what ever bead choice you want:

You get three beads per wire:

In any colour choice:

These Earrings cost 60le depending on what beads you choose.

Citrus Burst Set

A friend ordered this as an Eid pressie last year. I loved these beads and really didnt want to let them go but I cant keep them all!

Citrus Burst Pendant:

Citrus Burst Bracelet:

Citrus Burst Earrings:

Cant tell you the price in case the person who received it is looking. ;-)

Scarf Bag

This is when being a pack rat comes into some use!

I had a burnt scarf that I couldnt throw away just lying around the bedroom looking lost. So the other day I decided to make a bag from it to wear under my jilbab.

Cue loads of pics of each stage. :D

Fold and sew scarf to form a double layer.

Fold together and sew again leaving a flap.

Make pocket big enough for phone and sew inside bag.

Check to see it fits.

Add strap! (The strap is not finished but i got tired so will do it another time)

And now I want to make loads more.

More notebooks!

This week I was on a creative roll and made a few things.

1st up was a mini notebook using a tutorial from my fav site Cut Out and keep.

The creators name is Sarah M and here is my sample before and after decorating with foam shapes:
